We visited Myanmar with Myanmar2Go with The Royal Asiatic Society Korea Branch (RAS-KB Excursions) from 6th February to 13th February 2016. We would like to recommend that they are professional, efficient and met all our international standards. Accommodation, meals and transport are excellent and tour guide, Min, is exceptional. He has wonderful personality and seems to be very knowledgeable. He could use his charm to manage group’s time better. He did an excellent job at Bagan sites explaining the history of the temple. This good example could be expanded to some other sites.

Moreover, itinerary and sightseeing are balanced. I’ve enjoyed thtrip and the company very much. Thank you!

“The trip went fine. Boat to Mrauk U was excellent, but the one coming back was not good – Win already gave you her feedback on that.Hotel Nawarat was OK – very clean, and more cheerful than Shwe Thazin.

Its location was also very convenient for walks around the temples.I wouldn’t have stayed at Princess Resort as it is too far and the road is very poor, plus the riverside is nothing special.

The agent at Sittwe was very efficient in tracking down the mobile phone that my friend left on the boat.

I will certainly recommend your company to any of my friends who plan to visit Myanmar.”

“Dr Thant: Thank you once again for making this trip a huge success – we couldn’t have done it without you. If you are traveling to Myanmar, his very able team will be able to help you make your travel arrangements.”

  • Tour guide that you should use in Yangon

“I had a superb experience with a firm called Myanmar2go, out of Yangon. They arranged for a “station guide,” to meet us with a driver in Muse at the Chinese border, and was with us for 5 days. After that, they arranged a guide for us in the area of Bagan, and after that, one who was in the area of Kalaw and Inle Lake, and last, a guide in the area of Yangon and the Golden Rock. This organization was smart, responsive to my emails in less than 24 hours, and was not priced over-the-top. I was in Myanmar for 26 days, and preferred changing guides, rather than keeping the same guide for the whole trip. I wanted frequent stops to take photographs, and all of the guides were responsive to that. They were to a man, smart, and intellectually engaged.”
